The LSU Board of Supervisors unanimously voted on September 5, 2025, to designate six LSU faculty members as Boyd Professors, including R. Kelley Pace, professor in the LSU Department of Finance. The Boyd Professorship, established by the LSU Board of Supervisors in 1953, is the most distinguished and highest professorial rank awarded by LSU.
