Ready to Roar: Critical Thinking
Critical Thinking is founded in both personal and professional growth. Through classwork, involvement in student organizations, and part-time jobs, students are presented with opportunities to sharpen their ability to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information.
Critical Thinking differs from the Problem-Solving proficiency in that it focuses on the process of gathering information, whereas Problem-Solving focuses on the execution of the strategies that come from Critical Thinking. This blog post explores how three aspects of college life, Classwork, Student Orgs, and Part Time Jobs, contribute to the development of the Critical Thinking Ready to Roar Career Proficiency.
Classwork
Classroom activities and assignments are designed to challenge students intellectually and push the boundaries of their understanding. Critical thinking is strengthened through:
