Students Engaged in Education & Service

Students Engaged in Education & Service (SEEdS)

What is SEEdS?

Students can accept our challenge to become involved in civic engagement activities while in our College by participating in SEEdS. Whether you commit to volunteer at a local school or non-profit organization, serve as a mentor, or participate in other service initiatives, volunteering can help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the community in which you live and learn.

Benefits of Getting Involved

  • Give back and contribute to the quality of life in the Baton Rouge Community.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the community in which you live and learn.
  • Build friendships with other students.
  • Earn requirements toward LSU's Engaged Citizen Program
