Chapter SymbolPhi Mu serves to provide personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence, and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition. Since 1852, the nation's second-oldest sorority has promoted vibrant living by encouraging members to achieve their personal best. LSU's chapter is composed of strong, unique young women participating in a variety of on- campus organizations such as Student Government, TigerTV, Golden Girls, Bat Girls, and LSU Homecoming Court. Alpha Eta is also proud to have over 30 members in leadership roles in other on campus organizations. Phi Mu's national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The Alpha Eta Chapter raised over $160,000 in the 2024-2025 academic year for CMN Hospitals and has raised over one million dollars throughout our time at LSU. All funding raised by Phi Mu at LSU goes directly to their local CMN Hospital, Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital located only 15 minutes away from LSU's campus. Alpha Eta hosts an array of events each semester including Pink Dress Run, Red White, and Mu, BonnaMu, and a variety of sisterhood events while also maintaining the highest GPA down the row. The Alpha Eta chapter is proud to be a part of LSU Greek Life, and looks forward to another year of laughter, friendship, and growth as a sorority.
