Delta Zeta is a women’s organization with a mission to inspire change and impact lives on a global scale through scholarship, service, and philanthropy. Delta Zeta was founded on the bonds of sincere and everlasting friendship and prides itself on the pursuit of knowledge, promoting moral and social culture of members, and development of plans for guidance and unity in action. Our sisterhood prepares members for their futures and empowers them with shared values and experiences we hold dear.

Our chapter has global advocates for Hearing and Speech, partnering with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, the American Society for Deaf Children, and the SeriousFun Children’s Network. Locally, our Sigma chapter collaborates with the Louisiana School for the Deaf and Visually Impaired, St. Lillian Academy, and the Emerge Center, providing members with hands-on volunteer opportunities that directly support individuals with hearing and speech impairments. For the past 20 years, we have hosted the Miss LSU pageant, raising more than $60,000 each year to benefit our philanthropy.
